Harvest Home Collection

As a church/charge family, we want to bless 16-20 families in

our area with Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Won’t you

and yours prayerfully consider bringing or pledging a portion of

what God has given to you so that others may gather around a

bountiful holiday dinner table? Items needed include but are not

limited to: instant mashed potatoes; stuffing mixes; canned

sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, gravies, cranberry sauce,

and/or fruits; cake mixes; and frostings. All donations should not be older than their “use-by-date.”

Also needed are 16-20 medium size (10-15 lbs.) frozen turkeys. A sign-up sheet can be found today on the activities table

beginning on October 12. (Christmas hams will be received later.)

A Harvest Home Collection Table will be present to receive your donations at the Shermans Dale Church and Young’s Church

October 12, 19 and 26.

Should you not wish to contribute tangible food, a box will be present on the table to receive your financial contribution. God

bless you as you return a portion of the bounty with which He has blessed you.
